Description
Description
This is a direct replacement for your stock unit, and it has been designed to reduce the shift throw by as much as 40%. Once installed you will feel the difference, and the drop height of the shifter will go down by an inch as well. This shifter has been CNC'd and TIG welded from 4130 Chromoly steel for extra durability. Installation can be performed in about 30 minutes using basic hand tools. 100% made in the USA.
Note: 2001-2007 Wrx with optional factory STI short shifters will use the GC8 94-00 short shifter. To check which shift you have measure the width of the centre barrell. 29.5mm wide will need the 94-00 shifter (KB-001-RS), 36.5mm wide will need this shifter (KB-002-WRX).
