The IAG Ford 8.8” Rear End Swap Kit is designed specifically for high-horsepower drag racing applications. This kit includes everything you need to install a new or used Ford Explorer rear differential (not included) under your 2008-2021 Subaru STI or 2008-2014 Subaru WRX with GR chassis. Unlike OEM Subaru differentials, which struggle to handle high power output and often fail under stress, the Ford 8.8" rear differential combined with our Rear End Swap Kit provides a substantially stronger option that is capable of standing up to 800+ WHP. Choose between a traditional Limited Slip Differential - or a spool, which will allow you to permanently lock the rear wheels together to put even, consistent power down to the ground. COMPLETE KIT INCLUDES ALL PARTS NEEDED

The IAG Ford 8.8” Rear End Swap Kit is a complete installation kit that includes all the parts needed to swap out your rear differential. Our kit includes an aluminum driveshaft with U-bolts, along with Drive Shaft Shop Pro Level Axles rated for applications of up to 1000 HP. This kit also contains the following high-quality parts- Ford 8.8" Differential Mounts, ARP Ring Gear Bolts, Custom Differential Cover, all Seals, and your choice of a TrueTrac Limited Slip Differential or a Spool. Finally, choose between a set of 5x100 or 5x114.3 hubs.

1000+ HP PRO LEVEL AXLES

The IAG Ford 8.8” Rear End Swap Kit features two rear 1000+ HP Pro Level Axles. Designed to stand up to high-powered applications, these axles offer strength and durability under hard acceleration. Manufactured by the Drive Shaft Shop, these sturdy axles are widely recognized for their quality and durability in rally, road, and drag racing circuits. Equipped with your choice of either 5X100 or 5x114.3 hubs, these axles are adapted for OEM style hub fitment, so no modification is needed to install the Pro Level Axles.

MAIN CAP LOAD BOLTS INCREASE STRENGTH

IAG’s Ford 8.8” Rear End Swap Kit incorporates the use of Main Cap Load Bolts to increase the strength of the differential unit, allowing it to capably handle the demands of high-powered applications. Sudden and heavy acceleration can cause unsupported bearing caps to shift inside the diff housing, potentially damaging the internal gears and components. By applying pressure to the bearing caps that support the differential, the Main Cap Load Bolts provide extra support that prevents the internal components from jarring inside the housing.

NO CUTTING OR PERMANENT MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED

IAG’s Ford 8.8” Rear End Swap Kit does not require cutting or permanent modifications to your Subaru’s subframe. While other solutions often entail cutting or drilling into the subframe, our precision-engineered design ensures a perfect fit. No need to fabricate brackets or braces. No need for cutting, drilling or welding. IAG’s Rear End Swap Kit offers a straightforward installation process, straight out of the box.
