HEL Brake line kits eliminate that 'spongy' feeling often found with rubber hoses under extreme braking conditions - the time when performance is needed the most. By replacing the original rubber hoses with our complete system you will remove this sponginess and your braking will deliver new levels of precision. Don't risk using inferior brake lines when you can trust us to improve braking reliability and performance - We use stainless steel in our lines and our fittings. Most competitors use zinc plated fittings which are at risk from corrosion.

Each HEL Performance brake line kit is assembled in-house from the finest quality stainless steel fittings swaged directly to hard drawn tensile stainless steel braided hose. With our extensive automotive listings the complete kit will be manufactured to exact specifications, guaranteeing the look, the quality and the performance you demand. HEL Performance is the only UK company of its kind to design and manufacture its entire range of mainline stainless steel high-performance brake line fittings in-house, using Star Sliding Head CNC machines.

FMVSS-106 Certified for Worldwide Use

To be road legal, brake hoses must comply with the strict criteria and requirements of FMVSS-106. Set out by the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, these criteria and requirements are used by:

Where Others Fall Short…

Many traditional hoses fail the ‘whip test’, which mimics the movement of the hose during normal use on a vehicle. Hoses are typically whip tested to destruction to determine durability, but must last for at least 35 hours to be certified.

In whip testing, four HEL Performance brake lines were removed from whip test apparatus after 40 hours, and were still fully intact. Two of the hoses were tested further – one for 70 hours, and another for 93 hours. Both remained intact – something the independent test centre had never experienced in over 20 years of testing.

This is testament to the research and design, and the quality of materials we use, in every HEL Performance product. When we began making brake lines in the UK, all our competitors were selling reusable items. Not for long… we quickly changed the market.

All HEL Performance brake and clutch lines include a durable PVC outer layer which by default is clear.
