Starting off with an OEM MHI Turbocharger, Blouch Performance Turbo remove both the OEM compressor and turbine wheels and throw them in the bin. Blouch engineers have designed custom, high flow wheels which brings the power potential of this turbo up to a staggering 550 Flywheel HP while retaining 100% bolt-on installation. The lightweight Blouch billet compressor wheel offers a faster spool time with a larger 57mm inducer/76mm exducer size (up from the standard 47mm/68mm) to increase air output. The turbine wheel also sees a significant redesign, moving to a 9-blade setup (OEM is 12) and an increase in size up to a 62mm inducer from the standard 56mm. A 9-blade turbine wheel allows a faster spool time while also minimising backpressure to allow for high power potential.
To improve boost control this turbo works wonderfully with the Turbosmart IWG-75 replacement actuator.
This is a 100% bolt-on turbo for Evo X vehicles. Installation is possible for Ralliart Lancers but an Evo X down-pipe will be required as well as a new intake and intercooler.
