Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics Australia

Technology is more than a buzzword. It is the means to increase power, improve drive-ability and simplify the tuning process.

Injector Dynamics are proud of their position as the technological leader and proud of their ability to function at the same high level as the auto manufacturers. To date, Injector Dynamics Australia are the only motorsport supplier providing emissions-compliant high flow injectors to OE manufacturers – namely, the twin turbo Noble M600, which meets strict European emissions specifications.

Injector Dynamics are also the only supplier to have earned the title of authorized technical partner with the largest automotive supplier in the world. Injector Dynamics partnership with Bosch Motorsport serves as a testament to their vast technical capabilities, and commitment to high quality, as very few have earned this distinction. This partnership provides access to the highest level of automotive technology, and it is this technology that Injector Dynamics offer to the motorsport community through products like the ID1300, which has set the standard for high flow fuel injectors.

Injector Dynamics goal has been, and always will be to improve the quality of the market through the application of current, and emerging technology. Just as the days of rebuilding a carburetor in the backyard have passed, so have the days of testing injectors with diagnostic equipment from the 80s.

What’s the difference between the injector dynamics 700x and 1300x?

Injector Dynamics sole focus is getting the right amount of fuel into your setup. We stock the latest X series collection, which flows about 5% more fuel than the previous generation. The X series is also fitted with stronger magnets, helping maintain consistent pressure as it releases juice into the engine. These products are great tools when you need an extra burst of energy during the race – the question is, which system to go for?

As a rule: the higher the number of the model, the greater the flow. Some cars are fitted with only one stock injector, some with two. Check your stock setup before selecting your upgrade from our collection to ensure you maximise your capabilities.

In terms of installation, we offer two options. The easiest way is to buy a kit, which has all the components you need in an easy-to-use, attachable setup that plugs right into the OEM harness. If you like to fine-tune everything and configure it your way, we also have systems that can be soldered on. It’s your choice either way – just be sure that all components are attached securely, or else they might not register on the ECU.

How much power can 1000ccs produce?

On regular pump gas, 1000 ccs will give you roughly 500-550 HP. If you’re running ethanol, you’ll have to factor in an extra 30% more fuel to get the same amount of energy, so you may want to go with something that gives you a greater flow rate. Something like the 1050x is perfect for 98 octanes, but if you’re on ethanol, you’ll want to size up to 1300.

In saying that, if your vehicle comes with dual ports smaller options might give you the same effect. Always do your research before buying and don’t be tempted to think that size wins out in every situation. Have more questions? Get in touch with our team and we’ll help you out.
