Description
Description
Manufactured with a large internal bore, the fuel rail can support all necessary engine power requirements. They are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum, anodized, and laser etched for a high quality surface finish. Like the OEM fuel rails, the injector bores are 11mm ID so factory injectors, or any equivalent aftermarket injector, can be used. The fuel rail ports are tapped for 8AN ORB and 1/8 NPT.
The kit is compatible with all fuel types including popular alcohol mixtures such as E85. The fuel rail mounts using the OEM studs, nuts, and insulating spacers.
There is a provision to reuse the OEM fuel pressure regulator (FPR). If not using the OEM FPR, there will be an open 1/8NPT port that can be used for ancillary sensors, or it can be plugged. Shown in the 1/8 NPT port below is a 20-0029 Fuel Pressure Gauge with a 14-0339 1/8NPT Male To Female, 90Deg elbow. These can be found separately.
Appropriate fittings must be selected based on the specific application. Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel pulse dampers.
This kit only includes the fuel rail and the mounting hardware, making it ideal for custom applications. Extra fittings, hoses and other fuel plumbing items will be needed to complete the installation.
OPTIONAL (SOLD SEPARATELY)
A Radium 20-0223 DMR, 8AN ORB regulator (shown in the end port) can be used in place of the OEM FPR. These can be found separately. Furthermore, a Radium 20-0176 FPD-R, 8AN ORB fuel pulse damper can be installed (shown in top port). The kit is compatible with all fuel types including popular alcohol mixtures such as E85. The fuel rail mounts using the OEM studs, nuts, and insulating spacers.
